Mount Agung Trekking Price

Our costs are largely fixed per group regardless of whether we take 1 or 2 people. The guide fee, permit processing, and equipment preparation are the same. The additional Rp 200,000 simply covers the extra permit fee and minor logistical adjustments for the second person. It is our way of encouraging couples and friends to share the experience at a highly discounted group rate.

Absolutely not. The price you see for your chosen package is the final price. We do not add surprise charges at the trailhead or temple gate. The only potential extra costs are entirely optional, such as transportation (which we do not provide) or gratuities for your guide, which are at your own discretion.

The camping package is a premium, immersive experience that spans two full days. The higher cost covers:

• Extra time & logistics: The guide spends two days with you instead of one night.
• Full meals: We provide 1 dinner, 2 lunches, snacks, juice, and drinking water.
• Heavy equipment: Tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping mats must be carried up the mountain by the team.
• Permits for multiple days.
  You are paying for the luxury of watching sunset, stars, and sunrise without rushing.

Our standard camping package is priced and equipped for 2 people (one tent, shared gear). If you are a solo camper, please contact us directly. We can arrange a private camping tour for 1 person, but the cost will be higher (closer to the 2-person price) because the logistics and equipment requirements remain the same regardless of group size.

Mount Agung’s weather is unpredictable and can change rapidly. We do not offer refunds or discounts due to weather conditions, cloud cover, or rain, as these are natural occurrences beyond our control. However, safety is our number one priority. If the weather is dangerously extreme (e.g., lightning storms or high winds), your guide has the authority to turn back the group. In such cases, we will discuss rescheduling options with you at no extra charge.
